How does it work?
- 1) Print and apply barcodes for your inventory from TIPWeb-IM.
- 2) At distribution, scan your student or teacher ID number and the barcode of the items they are receiving. (Distributing items with barcode scanning creates a link to the individuals ID number and the items unique barcode number. This link enables TIPWeb-IM to know if a students tries to return an item that wasn't given to them.)
- 3) At collection, scan just the unique item number to return materials back to storage. (Collection is also when you can account for any damages, convert outstanding items to lost, print lost book letters, collect payments and adjust your inventory counts to your actual quantities.
